我的做法是，利用一些现代c#特性:

选择1)

public static class Utils {
    public static bool IsNullOrEmpty<T>(this IEnumerable<T> list) {
        return !(list?.Any() ?? false);
    }
}

选择2)

public static class Utils {
    public static bool IsNullOrEmpty<T>(this IEnumerable<T> list) {
        return !(list?.Any()).GetValueOrDefault();
    }
}

顺便说一下，永远不要使用Count == 0或Count() == 0来检查一个集合是否为空。总是使用Linq的.Any()

if (collection?.Any() == true){
    // if collection contains more than one item
}
if (collection?.Any() != true){
    // if collection is null
    // if collection does not contain any item
}

当它是关于引用(可空)类型的，并且项中不期望有空项时，可以使用这一行进行验证

myCollection?.FirstOrDefault() == null

我用的是这个:

    public static bool IsNotEmpty(this ICollection elements)
    {
        return elements != null && elements.Count > 0;
    }

埃杰姆：

List<string> Things = null;
if (Things.IsNotEmpty())
{
    //replaces ->  if (Things != null && Things.Count > 0)
